Privacy Policy

Rooted Learning ED LLC ("Rooted Learning") values your privacy. We use Google authentication to identify users and collect your email address, usage data, and selected preferences to deliver and improve our educational services.

When signing in with Google, Rooted Learning requests access to your basic Google account information, including your email address and public profile (name and profile picture). This information is used solely to identify you, personalize your experience, and manage your Rooted Learning account.

We also request access to the Google Forms API to allow you to automatically generate, edit, and export assessments into your own Google Drive as Google Forms. This includes permissions to create, view, edit, and delete forms that were created by Rooted Learning. We do not access any other files or content in your Google account.

You can revoke this access at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions page.

We use OpenAI's GPT models to generate educational content, Google Forms API to build assessments, Supabase to store user data securely, and Stripe to manage payments. These services may process limited user data as necessary to operate, but your personal information is never sold or shared for advertising or marketing purposes. Google user data is never shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the services explicitly requested by the user.

Rooted Learning’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements for Workspace APIs. For reference, Rooted Learning does not access Google Photos APIs, but you can review the Limited Use requirements for Google Photos APIs.

Rooted Learning does not use any user data obtained via Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train any generalized machine learning or artificial intelligence models. All processing occurs solely to provide user-requested content and features.

We do not sell your personal information. All collected data is stored securely and used only to improve your experience. You may request deletion of your account or data at any time.

Data Security and Protection

Rooted Learning uses technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. All data is transmitted over secure HTTPS connections and stored in encrypted databases managed by trusted providers (including Supabase and Google Cloud). Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel who require it to operate the platform. We regularly review our security procedures to help prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of your data.

We retain user data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
